I believe they have lunch specials until 3pm and you can simply order online and pay cash or card which is convenient. I would arrive 20 minutes later and my food would be ready. The restaurant is located in a big plaza so there is plenty of parking. Due to Covid, the restaurant is not open for dine-in, only take-out, so I'm not sure what the inside of the restaurant looks like because they've blocked everything off and only handle the transaction at the door. They definitely made it so that they are protected as well as the customers. I recommend ordering these rolls: Spicy crunchy tuna roll, Spicy crunchy salmon roll, Eel avocado roll, and Bagel roll (salmon, cream cheese, and tobiko)
Always loved this place. Recently though the quality has gone down and price up. Still like it, but the gap between them and other places has closed.
We came here for some sushi and were surprised that they had an all you can eat menu, which did not disappoint... This place left me and my wife with full bellies and happy smiles. can't wait to come back!!!
On September 1, 2022, our favorite Chinese restaurant, Ginger Blossom [hidden link] unexpectedly closed. They seemed to do well despite the pandemic, but changed ownership sometime in the last couple of years. The beginning of the end perhaps was the fact that since around July they did not have a sushi chef, but they also did some renovations in preparation of the return of dine in service that never seemed to materialize for them. Regardless, my wife and I would order take out every Friday the same five appetizers spring rolls, crab rangoons, pan fried meat dumplings, boneless spare ribs, and fried chicken fingers and some entree , and the staff got to become familiar with me as a result. Is that a good thing or not? Super disappointing to see them go. I realized recently that I never reviewed them, but I would have given them four stars. In the weeks since, we've been trying to find a new Chinese restaurant that could possibly hold a candle to Ginger Blossom without being too far away. So far we have tried Main Garden [hidden link] , Hong Kong Garden [hidden link] , and Mandarin Wilbraham [hidden link] , in decreasing order of quality with regards to the aforementioned food. Most recently we tried Ichiban East Longmeadow, and so far their food has been the best of the four, but still lacking in portion size. Their General Tso's chicken was much spicier than Ginger Blossom's, that's for sure! So our search continues on for a Chinese restaurant on par with Ginger Blossom, but for those like us who frequented Ginger Blossom, Ichiban East Longmeadow seems to have good quality food.
Beware you will be scolded and charged a fee if you do not clean your plate!!! On Good Friday I took my children to enjoy a nice lunch. My two teenage children love sushi. This is a newer all you can eat sushi restaurant in our area and I thought it would be great to give it a try today. We ordered a variety of sushi including a couple of things we have never tried before. Overall, the food had a nice presentation and the portions were generous. I would have preferred the sushi colder as they made it over hot rice. We ate all but five pieces of our order and left 3 of the pieces because the yellowtail tuna had a metallic taste to it. We left exactly 3 pieces of yellowtail, part of a rainbow roll that we ate the rest of and two pieces of a California roll. When I asked for the check, the female server told me I needed to finish my plate. I wasn 't sure I heard her correctly and said excuse me? She said I told you when you sat down that you could order as much as you want, but you need to eat it all . I showed her on the ordering form where it says you may be charged for leaving excessive leftovers. I asked her to clarify what she considers excessive. She stated how she told me I needed to eat everything. I explained to her that the yellowtail had a funny taste and I didn 't care for it. She then told me I should not have ordered things I don 't like. I explained to her that I like yellowtail. However, the yellowtail had a metallic taste to it. My children were getting upset and decided to each take a California roll to help me clear my plate. Again, I asked her to tell me what her perception of excessive is. Is it a percentage of the total number of pieces of sushi I ordered? Or is it any food left on the plate at all because the menu does not state that. She then said again, I told you when you sat down. After about five minutes of bantering back and forth over what she told me and what is advertised on their website and on their menu, I asked her for my check she came back to the table and said I 'm not going to charge you for the three pieces you left, but next time you need to clean your plate, I told her honey don 't worry there won 't be a next time!
