Warm, welcoming dog friendly pub with a roaring fire, great range of quality hand pulled real ales on tap a superb varied menu! Had a cracking well pulled pint of Batemans Festive ale ‘Rosey Nosey’ to start me off. Eventually due to the huge range on offer and the specials board, went for the Steak Ale pie with chunky chips garden peas. It came in a pot with a puff pastry top. The gravy was thick, rich and flavoursome and there were plentiful chunks of beef being perfectly cooked, tender gorgeous. Without doubt one of the top 5 pies I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten some pies I can tell you! Would certainly recommend this place and so giving it 5 stars!

We stopped by a charming pub on High Street for a drink with my wife. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the lager beer was excellent. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Popped in for a glass of wine and a coffee. Service was ok, great value for money. Would probably return in the future
