Marine Boathouse - East Lindsey

Bad service, but the manager pulled him together. the food and the beverages lacked parts of the order that I spoke to the manager. she did everything possible to help with a bad server experience. the server was apparently new and rolled to us when we had a big group. not a great start, but a nice finsh thanks to the manager in service.

Avoid at all costs! if you are stupid enough (as I was) to spend money for eating here, then they are thicker than me. they don't do it, as I promise they'll go better elsewhere.

We visited on Monday afternoon in February. we ordered from the 2 for £10 menu, expects small dishes and we were amazed when 2 nice teller arrived with eating. I ordered the veg lasagne and it was absolutely beautiful and a very decent size....Homemade and served with salat (fresh shredded salat, wobbles, gurke etc.) and 2 slices of garlic bread. could not blame it and only £5! my partner ordered the fish, chips and mushy bases and the fish was huge and he said it could not have tasted fresh anymore. the service was also good. I asked the woman who brought our food to make a photo of us, and she was very happy to help and to laugh. if I had only one very light toucher, it was that the drinks must be expensive, as we only ordered a large koss and a bottle of fruity apple wine and the bill came to about £20, but fair to be, the food should cost much more for the worth, so we really did not moan. next time we'll do it again when we're in skeggy and we're planning to bring friends with us. absolutely delicious.

Recently visited, eating was terrible. do not write in the regular reviews either but had to give some guidance for others looking at eating. we ordered a carousel and a hunter chicken coming at £17. the hunter chicken was standard, but the chips that. with this came was well understated, very pale in color and hard. the salat looked as if it came out of a mixed leaf pocket and the fertile tasted of nothing, the carvery was very disappointing, little to choose on the carvery and despite my partner never failed, a carvery she took a bite and left the rest, worth eating was terrible, atmosphere was standard and would probably look for a drink or two there but never again for food. we have left ourselves on trawler fishing to satisfy our appetit. bottom line i would not recommend going for food seen as there are so many other quality places close to.

I loved the food in the marine boathouse especially their lovely scampi and salad and great drinks too and lovely to relax and eat and watch people go by.
