My hotwife and I drove on the MSU cycle path last Saturday. We ride aggressively and according to the norm I could hardly stop with her... Lol. Anyway, we were made of water and went in and the waitress Randi was so friendly to fill our water bottle with ice-cold water. When Randi was so friendly and accommodating, we decided to order some sushi. We had the outside seats on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Randi was friendly enough to bring the Sushi Burritos to table with additional spices on request. Due to the COVID situation there were no Dine in option. The Burritos were filled, filled with sushi and very tasty. We'll be back.
Delicious food, beautifully prepared, and great service (friendly, patient, and accommodating). The menu is rather long which can make it hard to decide, but I love all the photos. In addition to tons of sushi options they also have some rice bowls and noodle dishes. The monkey balls appetizer was my favorite item. The photos below show a bento box meal and the avocado don, (avocado stuffed w spicy crab, then lightly tempura fried, atop salad and rice). Will definitely visit again.
This place has been on my restaurant bucket list for a while and I finally decided to go. It's a small but cozy restaurant which I'm sure is for the college students in the town. For starters I had the spring rolls which were really good and came with a great amount and the Philadelphia roll which also was good. My cousin had got the Diablo roll which I tried and was actually good considering I was nervous about it being baked. For my main I had the ramyun soup which was great. The broth was nice and spicy but not too overpowering and the noodles were like ramen noodles which paired really well. My cousin had the spicy seafood udon soup which I tasted and the broth was amazing but I'm not exactly a fan of the thick udon noodles. Overall really good and inexpensive.
The best place in East Lansing to get sushi. MSU Roll is a must!!!!
