The Auldhouse Arms - East Kilbride

We had a fantastic meal at the restaurant. The menu was original, and the service was excellent, with only the best young staff. We were a group of nine, and all the food arrived on time for everyone. Afterward, we enjoyed the ambiance of the old public bar and soaked in the atmosphere of the 200-year-old tavern. Just go!

I visited the restaurant for Steak Night and I'm glad I did! I’m usually cautious about ordering steak, but I did not regret my choice this time. It was the most beautiful steak I've ever had. My fiancée also enjoyed her steak, and she typically sticks to filet. The sautéed potatoes with truffles and Parmesan were absolutely perfect – I know it sounds cliché, but they were light and fluffy on the inside with a wonderful crispy exterior. The hand-cut chips were outstanding too. We also had a bottle of wine for £45. In my opinion, you won't find better food or service anywhere in Glasgow!

We all went to this restaurant to celebrate my mother-in-law's 90th birthday—my husband, our two daughters, and I. The food and service were fantastic!
