I highly recommend their Sunday lunch. The food was well cooked and presented perfectly. The atmosphere was great with two cozy open fires. It was an overall perfect experience.

We went to the restaurant for lunch on a Sunday after enjoying a light lunch there the previous week. We were impressed by the prawns we had before. Our table was reserved in our name, which was a nice touch. The staff gave us a very friendly welcome and even remembered our earlier visit. The lunch we ordered was huge. We chose beef and were asked how we preferred it cooked. We opted for a more well-done preparation. The meal came with generous slices of meat, chewy and crunchy roast potatoes, julienne carrots, shredded cabbage, a large dish of cauliflower cheese, plenty of gravy, and a Yorkshire pudding. We couldn't finish everything but we tried our best. We shared a dessert, which was outstandingly good with a light texture and delicious flavor. It was naughty with cream, but not overly heavy. It was one of the best desserts we've ever had. The prices were very reasonable whether you choose one or two courses. They had Director's ale on tap and a good selection of wine. There was plenty of free street parking available. We are starting to explore other local places for Sunday lunch, but we will definitely be returning to this restaurant, especially when we're feeling hungry.

The restaurant has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with welcoming staff. We all enjoyed the Sunday lunch menu, with hot, good quality meats and delicious flavors. The service was prompt and our waiter was attentive to our needs. The tables and menus were clean, and there was a lovely area for a bit of privacy. The garden had a grassy area and amazing pods for outdoor drinks, each with its own unique theme. The owners were friendly and approachable. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.
