Shadhona - East Hertfordshire

It is a long time since we eat at this restaurant and thought we would give it a go as our son was visiting and he arrived by train. We ordered poppadoms and were staggered to learn that sauces were £1.25 each extra. We have never been charged in this way in any other Indian restaurant. Two of the main courses were superb. The chicken korai and the chicken tikka balti. However, the lamb shank was diabolical. I pointed this out to the waiter that it was very tough he simply shrugged his shoulders. Also we don’t like restaurants that have a TV on. If I want to watch tv , I will get a takeaway We won’t be going back. There are much better Indian restaurants in Bishop’s Stortford

Really disappointed! There was very few curries to choose from on the buffet and the rice was rock hard but the naan bread was ok. To top it off when I paid the bill. The total was £61.10 and I said “There’s 65 there, they didn’t bring back my change despite me never saying they could keep it. Best part was the chocolate orange square at the end when we paid. Wont be going again.

Fantastic food and they were absolutely fantastic with my friend who was Coeliac, really catered well to her needs. Would definitely recommend

I took my family to this restaurant for the first time last night to celebrate my eldest daughter's 18th birthday. The menu offered a great variety of dishes that were all excellent, catering to both seasoned and novice diners with a range of flavors and spice levels. The service was fantastic, with the staff being friendly, helpful, and striking the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to relax. My wife mentioned it was our daughter's birthday while ordering her drink, and at the end of the meal, she was surprised with a cake big enough for all of us. In short, we had a wonderful meal served by a welcoming and attentive team. We will definitely be returning.

The best curry in Stortford! The customer service is excellent, Smithy is extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
