Goldberg's Famous Bagels - East Hampton

Only had the bagels and they are excellent, cream cheese is good. The interior design is ok/functional. Took us 5 minutes to be served.Food: 5/5

I can't believe how frequently my orders are incorrect here. I've been a customer for years, but about a year ago, they began getting things wrong with almost every order. Now it's become a regular occurrence, and they haven't delivered a correct order in ages. Today, they messed up with my request for cream cheese "on the side." When I pointed out the mistake, they simply scraped the cream cheese off the bagel and put it in a cup. To top it off, we received bacon instead of sausage on our breakfast sandwiches. It's really disappointing to see such a once-good brand deteriorate due to poor service.

There was a long line, but it moved quickly. It was all worth it for the breakfast sandwiches, in particular. Food rating: 4/5.

Goldbergs has mastered the art of avoiding eye contact, or any contact for that matter, with the customer. I’m the only one in line and deli clerks are wandering around, hoping one of their coworkers will step up.

Everything has deteriorated over the past year. I work across the street. Even if there are no other customers, the staff is indifferent, takes 5-10 minutes to place an order and 20 more minutes to get a sandwich. The orders are usually incorrect. The staff is unfamiliar with the menu. Always order a Sagaponack without tomatoes. Staff rudely said there are no tomatoes on that sandwich . I referred him to the ingredients listed on the board. Staff is unfriendly, surly and busy having conversations with each other even while ringing up the order. Used to be amazing. Management really needs to do some retraining.
