The Palm East Hampton

I had high expectations when I visited this restaurant, as I had previously dined at The Palm in Chicago. However, I was extremely disappointed. The signature chopped salad I ordered tasted like mush, and even the waiter agreed that it resembled salsa more than a salad. The sautéed spinach had crispy, dried leaves and lacked flavor. Although we shared a lobster, which was priced at $25 per pound with the smallest being 3 pounds, the kitchen managed to ruin the crab meat stuffing. The carrot cake dessert had a taste reminiscent of a refrigerator. The service was slow and inefficient, with only one server and one busser attending to 20 tables of diners. We waited a long time for our coffee to be served with dessert. At a price of $100 per person including tip, I expected much better. I suggest saving your money and time by dining elsewhere.

I love this place! This Palm is in Hunting Inn and is very charming It's lots of old wood and corners and a nice room with couches as well.

Our recent return visit to the Easthampton Palm was another 5 star experience. Managers Andrew and Sheila continue to keep The Palm up to the excellent

Fine seafood with a Mexican twist. Good service adds to the meal. Convenient east mid town location. Worth the typical pricey NY cost.
