What makes for a difference a day, so the song goes, well, what a difference a few months in the case of the black sheep make. okay, it was always a bit hard with respect to the natives who flock there, but the helpful and...warm staff were those who made the place a quick drink and a chat. during my visit last night (December I noticed a lot of new staff, some kind, others, well we say that they leave much to wish! Not sure that the name of the man, but he was the older barman, seemed a chip on his shoulder all night. When I politely asked if someone had a charger behind the bar for my phone, he suddenly replied with no, which is a pub now, apologise to me, but many employees need to have phones and thus chargers, I was desperate and simply asked out of curiosity, a simple Ah-No, sad buddy would have saved. Perhaps this rather miserable soul job should change, one where he doesn't deal with the public, a lighthouse monitor perhaps? it also seems to be a discipline among the bar employees now, with a merciful that increases their vote on powerful decibels about the behavior of a customer and tells him that he comes out in the way of a fishwoman! Now he was happy, but certainly not in anyways for everyone, fellow customers or coworkers alike. a handful of good points was that some of the locals were very friendly, with a buy me a drink and the other gave me some cigarette papers (yes, it was a bad day to forget) the beer is also cheap enough. Conclusion: give the personal a refresher about what is the right customer service in a pub and they will see that the new customers will come in if they want to stay to be a dodgy back street alcohol, then continue with what they do
On wembley away a decent box stop for a few pints before a big game. atmosphere good service good and average prices so round ok
I can't understand why this little pub has deteriorated so much in a few years. when I arrived today, my nasen holes were missed by the stank of dogs/dogs. it was outside, but there were no doors or windows open, except one that led to a winter garden or garden? I then discovered that they don't take cards! So, instead of giving a message to the front door, they actually poured my drink and then informed me about the rule. this led me to get some to foot to an ATM that has not just fallen as a disabled pensioner. this place is ultra cheap, with krononburg only to my local cost but cheap does not mean good. they lose the dog smell, they put a sign in relation to the NO card rule and maybe they get some customers. but this will continue.
Great Little Pub, Still has a pub feeling to it. I would save it's a sports Bar at the end of the day.
