Pizzeria Adamo - East Geelong

I've been to Pizzeria Adamo quite a few times, and I have always left happy and satisfied for two reasons: I usually bring my friends and they are all pleased after the experience and I get my throwback memory of Italian pizza that I would have in Italy back on my mind.There are two key elements in judging a pizza: the crust and the toppings. Most of the people identify the Italian typical style with the Napolitean one: fluffy, not too thin crust, well-raised border which sometimes is stuffed with cheese as ricotta, quite thin in the middle. This is just one style as in some other parts of Italy you may find very different crusts. This one served at pizzeria Adamo reminds of the classic Napolitean but doesn't go that far with the dough and its border. Nevertheless, the crust is perfectly on point and lives up to the expectations for what you want to find in an Italian restaurant. Topping: generous, with that right amount of sausage, ham or veggies that you are willing to pay for. Service informal yet impeccable, nice selection of italian beers (go for Menabrea absolutely) and wine, also the housemade tiramisu and nutella pizza worth a try. If you go there on Wednesday night you get a pizza for $15, which is a bargain considering what you are after.You won't be disappointed, also shout out to Adamo, the owner, for making this place such a shiny spot of Italy here down under.I don't think that the 5-star system is appropriate for this platform, so I would just say that I highly recommend this place for pizza.

Adamo have Wednesday special $15 for a medium pizza. Enough for 2 or just solo if really hungry. Sounds expensive compared to the chain restaurants but I assure you well worth it. Friendly service, even if a little slow. I'll be back.

Really enjoyed this pizzeria. The staff were friendly and the pizza was delicious. Reasonably priced. Great before a movie. Definitely go again.

Love there pizza order here alotI love the calizones too I get it with butter sauce and dip it in marinara.

Good burgers , but very expensive compared to other places.We only order on Thursday gut discounted burgers.
