The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was delightful! It might be best to call ahead to book a table, as our online reservation didn't go through smoothly. Fortunately, there was still space for us, and the staff were very accommodating when we showed up with additional guests.

The restaurant has a very inviting atmosphere with exceptionally kind and friendly staff. Sven is one of the best bartenders I have ever encountered, and I have met quite a few. Additionally, the pianist at the restaurant is extremely talented.

I came here with a group of 20 friends to celebrate a going away party. The staff were so friendly from the moment we got there. It was $40 for an all you can eat buffet, which included a whole pig roasted on a spit, Veges and a range of salads. Then for an extra $40 you can get as many drinks as you like (beer, cider, wine, champagne and soft drink). By the end of the night everyone was up dancing and singing along with the music. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Enjoy a great atmosphere at a historic venue with fun German music and food. $40 gives you entree, main, and dessert. Though there are few options to choose from, the food does not disappoint. Entree was served as several generous soups to share. The restaurant made a spectacle of the beautiful whole spit-roasted pig for dinner. It was ceremoniously lifted and paraded around the whole restaurant before being sat down next to roast chicken, roast beef and a buffet of other dishes. This restaurant is not glamorous, however, it is far from average and should be experienced when one visits Geelong.
