Zephyr Riverside Dining and Kiosk

We have been loyal customers for years, but we were disappointed to see that many of our favorite dishes were missing from the menu. The restaurant seems to have shifted towards a fast Asian style, with inflated prices. The crispy chicken salad we ordered was a large portion of greasy, tasteless battered chicken on a small bed of undressed salad. The aioli and relish that came with it tasted bland and store-bought. The bread board I ordered consisted of three slices of dry, stale bread that seemed to be days old, and I had to ask for butter. When I pointed out these issues to the waitress, she shrugged. The service was slow, with a long line at the counter, so we decided to cut our losses and leave without ordering anything else. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and a far cry from the high-quality meals we used to enjoy at this restaurant.

The coffee is good the service not so. Like all place with hard surfaces (floor etc) it’s noisy. Take earplugs. They do your order in two parts (takeaway) so when you think they are done all you get is your food but wait another 5 for coffee. No biggie.

Zephyrs has been our go to place for years. Wonderful location, that's the only positive comment . Asked for extra hot coffee lukewarm. Scroll stale. Egg and bacon roll my grandson didn't want toasted BREAD, so ended up with COLD EGG, BACON AND CHEESE SLICE. maybe our fault for assuming that something as basic as eggs and bacon would be cooked to order!!!! They could have explained the routine that this came straight out of the chiller after sitting there for who knows how long. Manager/owner? Didn't care. This is a NO HOSPITALITY VENUE. PLEASE, sell up to someone who cares and values their customers like the previous owners did. WILL NOT BE BACK only gave 1 star as site won't allow me to submit without this being filled

We've been going to Zephyr's for years. It's casual and easy and the view superb. The food always good for breakfast or a casual lunch. We went today and while our food was still good, the service was appalling. Table not wiped down, food left all over the floor under our table, coffees arriving ages after we'd eaten our food. We had to ask twice for an apple juice we'd ordered and when it finally arrived it was slapped down on the table with no apology for the wait. I can see a treasured eatery going downhill quickly. New owners: take note of these reviews and lift your game.

1st time visit and i love the place right away the ambiance is so relaxing and overlooking river...perfect if u want to relax.
