The downlights above our bed weren't functioning, and the rooms aren't very soundproof; we could hear people walking by. However, our room was lovely and impeccably clean. To the owner: the room was presented very well, and I would definitely stay again, despite the noise being a bit more than I anticipated. To be fair, it was quite quiet after 11 PM, even on a Friday night. I think a lot of people might have been using the gym to cut through to the bar that was right outside our room. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

My partner and I just had breakfast (seafarers breakfast and poached eggs on hashbrown) this morning and that was one of the poorest breakfast services I have ever seen.There were only around 6 tables with 2-8 people at each. My partner and I were not the first to arrive but we waited just shy of an hour from the point of paying until our meals were brought out. When we did order the waiter informed us that the kitchen was out of bacon. Upon him telling me this, I asked if I could have an additional sausage instead.When my partner and I were given our food there was no second sausage nor butter. To add insult to injury the poor table of people that ordered well before us were still waiting for their food after we had finished.The fact that there were no locals there just reaffirms my thoughts. Prime location and reasonable prices, I wonder why it was so empty...

The food was tasty, but the wait for service was quite long. Service rating: 2/5. Location rating: 4/5.
