The Short Sweet Company - East Dorset

My friends and I had lunch at Short and Sweet company on a Monday. It was quiet at first but the place got busier later on. They also offer takeaway options! We tried their delicious homemade black bean and bacon soup served with sourdough bread and a pot of tea. The bill came out to about £15. We would definitely go back if we are in the area again.

The staff at this restaurant are extremely pleasant. The server, a young lady, was able to accommodate multiple food intolerances for one member of our group. Our food was promptly served and met our expectations. Although we were just passing through, we will definitely make a point to return if we ever find ourselves back in Wimborne. Great job!

The restaurant had the price listed as £2.25 on the menus and outside board, but charged £2.50 when the customer pointed this out. The customer expressed their concern and was told that the menus needed to be updated rather than honoring the advertised price. While it may seem like a small issue, it raises questions about whether they do this to all customers.

Just came back from having lunch with our six year old son. We really enjoyed our visit; thank you for having us!

My wife and myself went into this place today and the food we had was so lovely and fresh, we both had milkshakes and i was amazed at the amount of different flavours, the coffee flavour milkshake was the best I have ever had, the 2 girls who work there we found so friendly and the service was brilliant. When we go to wimborne again we will definitely go back in there and i recommend this place to everyone.
