We have come here by chance because google maps have moved the route while we go from glasgow to ayr because of some road closures and we appreciate the moment we went there. very quiet, quiet environment with a lot of food option. we had veg haggis, rühreiburger and it was wow. we felt so happy to see Lord ganesha, maa laxmi and Lord hanuman idole. must visit. also great friendly staff.
Dog friendly. Good food. Not unreasonable. Service 1st class
Love the location in Craufurdland Estate. Its beautiful beside the lochan. Not surprised they sit fishing in the sun there. The Lairds Table is quite expensive. The kind of place you'd book for a special celebration. There is also a great wee cafe further round at the entrance for the fishermen. You can have a cuppa cake, or hot/cold rolls etc. Much cheaper. In between the restaurant cafe are the toilets. Ladies, Gents 1 disabled.
Obviously overpriced mediocrity. I had a simple breakfast, bacon eggs, toast coffee. £14.60 for two very modest pieces of speck, two eggs or so cubed, two pieces of cold toast - no jam, and two flat white coffees. eating was okay, but it's hard to screw up speck. the service was ok, but not better than that. I was here with a group, but I never eat again. unsafe expensive for what was delivered.
