We had a day trip to troon to walk the dogs to the foot and on the way we came past a place called hansel was formerly hansel village, but now only Hanssel. lindys tea room is located in this small village and it serves eating from breakfast to. on the afternoon / afternoon tee. it also sells some crafts and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. the Scottish breakfast was amazing. the personal was beautiful and although the equipment is somewhat basic, we still really enjoyed our eating. steak pie was the lunchtime hot meal together with the usual cheeseburgers, chips and sandwiches and it looked all nice and fresh and tasty. this is a small business with a huge heart and I would recommend if in the opposite to give them an attempt to decide for themselves whether they go back or not. we are very pleased that we have taken the chance and we will certainly recommend our friends and our family that they also do.
My wife and I drove to Ayr for lunch and stumbled upon Hanssel village. We remembered a tea room there and decided to give it a try. We found the place easily, with ample parking. The tea room was bright and spacious, with plenty of tables. The menu was diverse and generous, with well-presented dishes at affordable prices. We ordered a pot of tea for two and sandwiches, which were delicious.
It's so easy to miss and that would be a big shame, because lindys is a hidden gem. it is part of the Hansel village and if they follow the signs on the Hansel village, they cannot miss it. the entrance of. the autobahn has changed recently, so keep a look at the Hanssel sign. it will be worth it. in recent years, lindy’s has expanded to a great purpose that is bright and welcoming. I have eaten there several times, but always forget to write a review, so I thought it was time to fix the situation. since it was lunch and we needed a snack, we decided to have a bowl scotch broth and a roll. I think the suppe has included our request at leisure! along with much the best it was delicious and filled. the cost for dishes of suppe, roll and two large glasses of milk was excellent. the staff is very friendly and helpful and there is a small gift shop with a beautiful selection of gifts. when they are a break on the and feel hungry reminiscent of lindys teespace in the Hanssel village.
I have had lunch at Lindys several times. It is a charming cafe that is not widely known. During my last visit, I ordered a jacket potato with beans. It was served with a generous side salad and coleslaw, making it a satisfying dish. The prices are great and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.
