Mcdonald's - East Alton

The only reason I go to McDonald's is for their hot and fresh fries. Unfortunately, this time when I barely pulled out of the parking lot, the fries were a letdown. I should have gone back to let them know. I won't be returning to this location again.

The best McDonald's location is in East Alton. I was disappointed when my food arrived cold, even though I had specifically asked for my fries to be hot when ordering. The woman at the front counter assured me they were hot, but after driving away and checking, they were actually cold. I should have gone back through the drive-thru to address the issue, but I chose not to. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience.

The restaurant closes at 12, although I believe it may have closed earlier at 1 or maybe 2, I can't quite remember. Despite that, I prefer this restaurant in Alton over others now. It is better with friendlier staff, and you can usually get a table without much trouble.

If you can avoid peak meal times, the service is quite quick. The food is usually served hot. The staff is mostly friendly and prompt.

The McDonald's we visited was exceptionally dirty. The soda fountain was so sticky that we had to clean my daughter's hands before we could eat, due to the syrup on the counter.
