The restaurant is small and intimate and has a nice feel for a late night dinner. The server was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. I found her wine pairing selections to be excellent. However portions are unnecessarily small. The cabbage appetizer was difficult to chew with...a stringy core. We found it a bit pricey for what is served.
Really comfortable space, warm and welcoming, great service, thanks Jacinthe, very interesting menu and drinks and wine list. The smoked eel and casarecce were very tasty apps, the braised lamb, the walleye and the grilled ox heart were all delicious. Really nice desserts and an...excellent selection of after dinner drinks, will definitely come back on our next trip to Montreal!’
Food was small plates which need not be a bad thing but in this case were overpriced and poorly executed. We sat at the bar and asked the bartender to make one of the house cocktails less sweet which he refused to do and then...proceeded to avoid us for the evening. We left after 4 dishes, not full, certainly unfulfilled and light of wallet. One to avoid.
The restaurant is nicely situated on St Laurent Blv. The service was very friendly and nice. AND that's it. Unfortunately, the prices are too steep for what you get. The scallop, is ONE scallop cut in half for $10. The pasta we ordered, Fusilli $17)...and Tagliatelli $16), were lukewarm, the portions extremely small and not even an offer for additional cheese, on top. Sorry. Not a pleasant experience.
