Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Chicken and dumplings are beyond scrumptious. Friendly service and such a pleasant atmosphere.

Had the roast beef and it was hard as leather. Had it taken back and got the fried catfish which was fried too hard on the outside and mushy on the inside. It must have been the cook that night because I eat at Cracker Barrel regularly and the food is usually enjoyable. Very disappointed with this current experience.

Dietary restrictions: Get lunch portion, if you are watching portion sizes.

I wanted to buy a book that was on sale for 25% off while waiting to be seated. It rang up at the original price. I asked for the discount and the cashier said it must not be a part of the sale. When we walked to the sale location it was clearly in the 25% off area. She tried to ring it up another way but the regular price still came up. She also stated that she couldn 't change the price. She didn 't offer to get the manager, there were other people behind me so I didn 't ask for the manager either. Then I wanted to order the fish for lunch. Oh, said the waitress, we don 't have that anymore . If you DONT sell it any more mark the order menu! It was not a good time at this store . I was very disappointed.

Newer store with great service, fast and tasty as always food.
