Milepost Tavern - DUXBURY

We are saddened to see our beloved neighborhood restaurant and bar close its doors. We will miss the warm and friendly atmosphere, as well as the staff who made our dining experience special. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

This restaurant is a charming, old-world gem. Michelle is a fantastic bartender. It's not fancy, but that's just right. Not elegant or trendy, but authentic and exceptional. This was one of the best meals I've had recently. Don't hesitate to grab a seat at the bar, you won't be disappointed. The exterior may not be much to look at, but the experience inside is worth it.

The ambiance is wonderful, with a true sense of community. The bartender is top-notch, being very attentive and friendly. The French fries were delicious, hot, and tasty. The coleslaw was outstanding, I could have eaten a large bowl of it. The prime rib was cooked correctly, but was tough and difficult to cut. It lacked flavor and was not served with any horseradish sauce, which could have enhanced the dish.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and the fried seafood was very good, but overall it was overpriced. However, given the current environment, I don't mind paying a bit more for a good meal.

I had a positive experience at this restaurant, although it was quite surreal. I was the only customer on a Friday night starting from 8pm. The staff seemed confused by this, but Jenne at the bar was fantastic and the rest of the staff made me feel very welcome. I ordered the seafood medley with white sauce and the blueberry pie, both of which were delicious. I am excited to come back again in the future. Thank you for not rushing me out so you could close early.
