Was just at the restaurant and watched the owner uses hand to strain the water out of icewater glasses back into a pitcher.. then pour tea into the same glasses and serve them to a table...also left pitcher out to serve other customer the water...the waiter watch the whole thing and serve the tea. Amazing comfort food, with full bar, all at such great prices you will think that you're no longer in California. Perfect stop off Route 80 for dinner, to or from Tahoe. The chef Tom is incredibly talented and offers unique specials each night. Also, there are at least a dozen in house desserts to choose from, so don't skip dessert! Price per person: $10–20

Food is good but meat temperatures seem to be only suggestions Drinks are good Service is warm and makes me want to go back just for that. The scampi pasta is just unacceptable. The place is really friendly though And people are great Just don’t expect the finest dining experience Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
