THE BEST BARBECUE IN DURHAM! The fried okra tastes like it’s made from FRESH OKRA and reminds me of my mama’s cooking. It’s truly one of the best home-style flavors you can find. The pulled pork sandwich is amazing, served on a perfectly toasted and soft, buttered bun—a detail many barbecue places often overlook. It comes with slaw, just as it should! The sweet tea is refreshing, and the dill pickle fries are absolutely DELICIOUS. A must-visit!

This BBQ place was fantastic overall. The ribs and mac and cheese were absolutely delicious, and the pork BBQ was quite tasty as well. I wasn't a big fan of the okra, though. The restaurant has a great vibe, reminiscent of old-school blues. The service was great, and the music selection was spot on. I'm really glad I stumbled upon this place!

I visited in the afternoon specifically for a meal, and I was not disappointed. The BBQ was smoky and delicious—definitely worth the trip! The service was excellent as well. I plan to return one evening to enjoy the music and indulge in more BBQ!

Sat outside, there were 6 of us. Service was super quick and friendly. Everything on the menu looked good! I had the catfish po boy and give it high marks not as good at Bullock's fried catfish plate but still heck'n good. Give this place a try.

I've never eaten in the restaurant. But the bar/performance space is fantastic. Bill has an eclectic taste in live music, and it's always good. The bar is well stocked, and well staffed, and the food they offer is fantastic. Pick a night with some good live music, arrive a little early, order the chips with pimento cheese dip, and the deviled eggs, and your favorite cocktail you will thank me later.
