Sake Bomb - Durham

First time ordering . Was very disappointed with their signature roll sake bomb roll was very small for $18 and tasteless . That’s my mistake for wrong order . But the Tom kha soup order often and make myself) had no lemon grass , Galangal , or ginger and again quite tasteless. Uber eats gave great scores but on review was for delivery not the quality of the food

Birthday dinner for my boyfriend. We were a party of 5 and everyone was very happy with what they got. We did ALL the apps, sushi, hibachi, and kitchen meals. All excellent. I've only had delivery up to now, but it's a beautiful place with excellent service and very fresh quality food. Can't go wrong with this one!

This restaurant was fantastic! Upon entering, I was struck by the stunning design, featuring beautiful tiled walls and a raised bar. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are impressive. You definitely get your money's worth. The sushi was among the freshest and most unique I've ever had, with an extensive selection to choose from. I truly enjoyed the entire experience and would highly recommend this place!

Sake Bomb is a welcoming and beautifully designed restaurant featuring a spacious bar area and a comfortable dining room. During a previous visit, we encountered some issues because each sushi roll we ordered came with a generous amount of sweet sauce, which didn’t suit our tastes. However, on our recent visit, we simply asked for rolls without the sugar syrup, and the staff was more than happy to accommodate our request. The food was excellent with this adjustment. Keep in mind that this is just a personal preference, and the menu clearly outlines the ingredients and sauces for each roll. The bartender was very helpful, and now we feel confident about navigating the sushi menu here. The atmosphere is friendly and casual, making it well worth a visit. Just a note: be patient with the staff as they are doing their best during these challenging times related to COVID-19.
