Picnic - Durham

I am shocked by the high ratings of this BBQ restaurant. My favorite thing here was the Koleslaw that the Veggies had a very fine texture. The Brisket chicken was sooo average. They weren't tender, were quite tasteless. I wish they also made their own BBQ sauce; the pig whiskey? BBQ sauce they had at each table was not good.

A great brisket sandwich... one of the best .great sauces too. The lush puppies are lovely. Very good food here.

4.5 Stars I am honestly not sure what with all negative reviews. People here don't know good food. Terrible restaurants here somehow have higher reviews than this fantastic spot This place was nothing but excellent. Pretty fried chicken sandwich and super-drawn pig and brisket. Great BBQ sauce. Collard Greens had amazing taste and the Mac and cheese was made right, and not Gooey. The squeezes were nicely picked. Hush puppies were good things. Fast service

Got the brisket and BBQ combo plate everything was good, however I was not a fan of the house BBQ sauce. It was very vinegary the brisket comes with a separate sauce that was much better and made up for it

Pretty good fried chicken sandwich. Came with a side, hushpuppies and slaw. Sandwich itself was nice, as well as the mac and cheese (my side), but for the price the portions were on the smaller side. Service was very fast as well.
