However, the service left a lot to be desired. For starters, we waited for about 15' -along about 5 to 7 other people, in the crowded front area until our table was ready, in spite of arriving exactly at our reserved time. Then, the waiter was nowhere to be seen for a while, and the bread server practically threw the pieces on our plates, even without asking for our choice. Once we ordered, half of the table's entrees came a few minutes later than the other half. Lastly, again the server disappeared prior to dessert and again prior to bringing the bill. We realize that this was around Thanksgiving, but the restaurant was busy, rather than over crowded. They need to implement a better flow and increased organization. At this price point, if they can't handle this number of parties in an organized fashion, then they could convey a better image by not taking as many reservations to begin with....
My favorite restaurant in durham over many years. I don't think it's closed and it's open now! standard for food and service. exceptional and consistent fine eating. eating is the show, but they do everything well.
First visit to nana. all recommended as durham institution. it wasn't disappointed. from cocktails to dessert everything was amazing. my wife ordered the duck and I had the heavy fish. Both were excellent.
Fish, seafood risotto, cream brûlée. the best, great atmosphere. great service, perfect preparation. not excessive price for fine eating. I'm back.
Such a fantastic culinary experience. the healed was on the spot. it was perfectly cooked and had a nice balance between fluffyness and butter softness. check out this location when they're in Raleigh-Durham. prices are .
