Fullsteam Brewery - Durham

I stopped by while visiting Durham from Delaware. Despite the hot weather, the large fan kept the atmosphere pleasantly cool. The bartender was exceptionally friendly and skilled. The food and beer were good, too. The brewery is located in a charming old brick building, making it a worthwhile stop.

The beer is fantastic, but the brewery itself is only average. During my last visit, they didn't have many of their best beers on tap, such as Humidity, Rocket Science, and Coffee is for Closers. However, the staff was incredibly friendly!

We had a wonderful experience at Fullsteam during our visit for a social event. I'm a big fan of Fullsteam's brews, but this was my first time at the brewery. I really enjoyed the atmosphere! However, parking can be a bit tricky in this busy area of Durham.

Central location, prices are fair for beer in this area, and the vegan tavern burger was delicious. They have tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Even the indoor seating feels covid-friendly because the ceilings are so high, doors are open and there is a giant fan circulating air.

Beers are delicious and always interesting. Plenty of space and good vibe. Staff is super friendly. Food is fine, a little pricey. Nice rotating list of beers.
