Early Bird Donuts - Durham

The place is bright, welcoming and inviting. The selection is different and amazing every day. I have never seen 'fillable ' donuts where you get to choose the filling and it is filled in front of you! You can see all of the operations, there is a glass partial wall and it 's impressive to watch the process. Yummy.

Incredible, fresh, delicious donuts! I've tried lots of flavors on many visits, I have to say the salted caramel is my favorite salted caramel flavored thing I've ever had, yummm! I love how casual and family friendly it is too, they have a stack of small chalkboards and chalk, paper, crayons for little kids, even a chess set and reading material for adults. My 2-year-old loves it as much as my husband and I do! Great coffee too, Joe Van Gogh! Very highly recommend! (I just hope it doesn't start getting too busy, I love the chill atmosphere:

I ate half a dozen donuts for breakfast... I want more. Maybe the best donuts I've ever had.
