Dashi - Durham

I recently visited the izakaya section of this restaurant and was completely amazed by the experience. From the food and drinks to the service and ambiance, everything was spot on. The staff had a comfortable rhythm when serving and clearing dishes, making it feel like a well-orchestrated performance. It was clear that every detail of the culinary experience was thoughtfully considered by the team. Checking our vaccine status upon arrival also made us feel safe. This restaurant is fantastic. The food, drinks, and service are all top-notch. The shrimp dish was outstanding and one of the best things I've ever tasted. Definitely try it out!

Many people may pass by this unassuming place without realizing what a hidden gem it truly is, or the amount of effort that has been put into creating an authentic experience. As someone who frequently travels to Japan, I am incredibly grateful that such a wonderful establishment exists in my own neighborhood, serving delicious food made with passion. My recommendation is to visit the izakaya, where you can enjoy a wide variety of food and drinks. They have an excellent selection.

Mouth watering food! I could eat here once a week, big customer service. not a huge menu, but delicious. a beautiful size list of Japanese spirits and other alcohols

This is a hidden joy of durham. it has to find a great place to enjoy noodles, not everyone knows how to make it right. I can say that this place is a top 5 of all places I have tried in California and N.C, very good decisions that supplement their order. I ruined my favorite shirt, that's worth it.
