Almendra Winery Distillery - Durham

The historic French style cognac still is definitely the main showpiece of this distillery, and they are using as intended to make some fantastic brandy (and Bourbon, Rye and Gin).

The New York Steak and Sea Bass dinners are amazing. Very nice to be served a full meal with no add on charges for sides/salad. Food was prepared very well, and is very consistent. Love having a nice place to have a great dinner in Durham.

Always a pleasant experience dining there. food is wonderful and wine or cocktails are great and made local ! staff are friendly and the atmosphere is nice, located in the cute town of Durham.

Horrible service. Received my order wrong and sent it back. Waited over an hour and ended up canceling. Our **** Mary?s sat on the bar for 15 minutes until I just walked up and asked if they were for my table. Our waitress was apologetic but still. It took her nearly a half hour to get our order taken. On the upside the food is good.

Great environment and friendly staff. I had one of their pizzas and it was very delicious! Their chef is one of a kind. Definitely a place to go with friends and family. I?m looking forward to trying more on their menu.
