One of the best Vegetarian Restaurant of Durgapur, specially for North Indian cuisine. My favorite dish is Aloo paratha along with mixed vegetables and Malai kofta. Let me tell something about my favourite Aloo Paratha. Aloo paratha is a bread dish originating from India. It is a breakfast dish that is popular in the Indian subcontinent. The recipe is one of the most popular breakfast dishes throughout the western, central and northern regions of India as well as the eastern regions of Pakistan. Aloo parathas consist of unleavened dough rolled with a mixture of mashed potatoes and spices, which is cooked on a hot tawa with butter or ghee. Aloo paratha is usually served with butter, chutney, curd, butter milk or pickles, depending on the area of northern and western India in which it is served. Mixed Vegetables are a mixture of at least two different vegetables. They are peeled, if necessary, and prepared in bite-sized pieces if they are large vegetables. Though there are recipes for mixed-vegetable dishes, and there’s no doubting that these are indeed “mixed vegetables”, the phrase “Mixed Vegetables” now means to most people a commercial preparation, either canned or frozen. The vegetables in commercial “Mixed Vegetables” used to be just peas and corn, or peas and carrots (with the carrots being diced to match the peas in size. There are now many different mixtures: mixtures appropriate for stir fries, for Italian pasta dishes, etc. In Britain, you can buy bags of frozen mixed stewing vegetables appropriate for stews which include root vegetables such as swede, carrots, parsnip, etc. And Malai Kofta needs no introduction. Deep fried balls (koftas made with potato and paneer are dunked in a creamy spiced velvety smooth curry.
