Banolata - Durgapur

Famous in durgapur for bengali food... Tasty fresh food... But disappointed with less quantity as compare with the price... Serving was done so nicely.. Nice behavior

We visited this restaurant upon the recommendation of a native of Durgapur. Food was served after a thirty minute waiting time.<br/ We had ordered the Veg Thali or Combo meal. The food was presented very neatly.<br/ We were served fine and well done rice with shukto appetizing stewed vegetables), mochar ghonto Banana Blossom Curry), Postor bora A Huge Poppy Seed Fritter), Tok Daal Tangy Lentils with Green Mango) and Posto Aloo Jinger Torkari Ridge Gourd and Potato Curry)<br/ All the items were lukewarm and delicious. The price was very reasonable with Rs. 250/ each plate.<br/ The quantity served is very filling. The staff is courteous and helpful. The ambience of this air conditioned restaurant is very pleasing. Highly recommended.<br/

Good food and variety of options at reasonable prices!

So they're not good at making mocktails, just so you know. And no mutton dish can match the standards. Bengali cuisine is highly recommended as they expertise in that.<br/

Very nice taste and packaging was good... Must try Garlic chicken Mixed fried rice
