R Hibachi Sushi Grill - Durant

They sent one of our entrees to someone else, so had to wait longer on our order.

Decent sushi...hibachi, which is a misnomer, is not awesome.Slow service, and not during a busy time.Hibachi (there) is just stirfry it's the fastest version of cooking. So why did it take 40+ min for it to come out?Over sauced which is typical, so hibachi items are a mixed bag.Unfortunately Durant doesn't offer better.

The food is really good even though some of it isn’t authentic. The calamari was nice in size. However the restaurant is a little smaller and tables are close together.

It 's a place to get affordable low quality sushi and some hibachi food. The fried rice is pretty lacking. It 's more like frozen Chinese food. Probably a step above Asian Gourmet though since it 's not as dry. But if you 're craving sashimi, this is the only place close by to get it for the price that I know of. Tokyos sashimi across town is similar quality, although they have much better hibachi (teppanyaki style).I took another star off because every time I go in I get charged some random price for the same order.
