El Kanelo - Durant

We always seek out hidden gems or Mexican food spots whenever we travel, and this place did not disappoint! The staff was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. As food lovers, we found this spot to be a real winner. There was a great variety of dishes, and the prices were quite reasonable. We’ll definitely be returning to Durant next time!

Awesome place to go eat. Good food. Some of the employees are nice. The restrooms need more cleaning. That's the only thing I have to say about anything.

My husband ordered shrimp in a red sauce with beans and rice. He absolutely loved it. I ordered beef flautas and received chicken flautas instead, so I was disappointed but the restaurant was so busy and every server was running back and forth hustling to take care of the customers so I just ate a few bites and took it home for my husband to eat the next day. You always get huge portions on whatever you order.

Excellent, fast friendly service, clean, good food. The Fajitas were very good, not the best in the city, but still high quality and lots of food for your money. The Margarita was delicious and huge, the chips and salsa were also good. The parking lot was better than others in the area. Would definitely recommend. We hope some of the other menu items soon try, we saw a lot of good looking food while we were there.
