1832 Steakhouse - Durant

Hands down, this was the most expensive meal I have ever eaten, and as such, I expected it to be the best, most delicious meal. Unfortunately, for me, it was a big meh. The restaurant itself was very nice, lots of wood and windows, but I liked it. Our server was good, but seemed a little flustered with something that was going on behind the scenes. He was helpful with the menu and offered suggestions and gave details about any items we are curious about. We ordered

Had another great dinner at 1832! Prime Rib Cap, Salmon with Risotto and Oyster Rockefeller. Colton our waiter had spot on recommendations that made for a delicious meal. Make sure you make reservations on weekends!

We had an awesome time celebrating our anniversary here and the food was delicious! Our waiter Trent was great as well, but the other staff have an opportunity to improve considering the price point of this place.

Waiter Colton greeted us by our last name making our experience personal. He then recited the menu from memory. Food was flavorful and rolls were delicious. Blackberry cocktail was amazing. Asparagus needed a tad more seasoning, and due to it being an anniversary dinner the comped a desert for us!! Will definitely come back.

I had the absolute best experience ever! The food here is so good. I?ve eaten at the best statehouses Dallas has to offer and in my opinion 1832 blows them out of the water. Our waitress Randi was on point and even remembered my family?s names. The manager Jeff is so awesome as well. Always makes me feel like a king. I?ve eaten here many times and they never have disappointed. I highly recommend you give them a try.
