There was nothing open as it was Christmas Day. But, Subway was still making coffee and there was the usual Subway sandwiches and cookies. Well done to the workers who made this happen otherwise tourists would not have meals. ( I realise that the pub had midday Christmas dinner but that was all booked out months ago)

You pretty much know what to expect when you go to a Subway, so no real surprises but this one does stand out from the pack. Very friendly owners who make subs well - like it was their own lunch. I've been eating the same couple of Subs for years and can honestly say that the local subway pretty much nails them how I want every time. They know the meaning of loads of chilli and extra Avo. Two thumbs up!
