Kawa Sushi House - Dunnellon

Food is terrible, specially the sushi Customer service also! Jilie julie is rude and practically blames the customer and told me to get a life, instead off apologizing for serving stale rice.

My wife and I went in for a Valentine Dinner. We ordered the Sashimi Otter (25 pieces of raw fish) and several other items including a warm sake. The waitress brought out a wooden boat containing the Sashimi, which included raw fish and about 10 pieces of imitation crab, which I’m allergic. I addressed the imitation crab issue and asked why it’s part of the Sashimi, which the waitress and the Sushi Chef argued with me that it was part of the menu. Long story short, they argued with me and would not replace it for anything else until I asked for the check. The waitress took away the imitation crab and brought me some other specie of sashimi, and at the same time spilled Sake on my wife’s lap. We ended our dinner and paid for our food and left. This was the most horrible experience I’ve had .

Worst service I have ever received. Took over an hour to get some Lohman. Wife got her sushi and eat it before my food even came out. It was not till I made a stink that my food came out 10 min later. only 6 cpls in restaurant. Not even an apology. Do not go here.

Great dumplings to start crunchy and with the perfect seasoning and moisture inside, the spring rol really crunchy, the sushi was great too and the Ramen too, the edamames perfect salt , the plumb wine really good, great services ?

To sum it up? Poor customer service. Ordered delivery and informed us last minute that it couldn’t be done. It would've been understandable if they contacted us earlier, but to wait an hour to request to pick it up is just terrible. The whole point of delivery is to get food if you don’t have access to a car. They can’t seem to get their ducks in a row so we will probably never try this place again.
