A great welcome awaited us at the entrance. honored by diarmuid. a drink at the bar, served by kevin. then to our table 15 minutes later. excellent choice for eating. especially ideal for fish lovers. we chose the half-portion crab claws. disturbed in garlic, butter and fresh parsley.home made brown brot. sidesalad. excellent court. the aromes for which we say in cork die. then our head came to fresh beginning of the day. helvic just done in brothcrumbs. served with fries and tartar sauce. salat, too. the tastes lovely. boiled by diarmuids twin. a witz). all round cuddly happy ambiente from native and visitors to fungarvan. so impressed can not wait, back again.

When we arrived, we said we had to wait 30 minutes for a table, we were shown in the bar where we had a drink while we waited that it was exactly 30 minutes when we got our table and it was worth that our meal was fantastic and the staff was amazing first-class service in a night that seemed really busy. I would recommend the moorings for a meal

A Definite Must Visit for Superb Food! We were a party of 12 adults and 3 children and had the most delicious lunch. The Moorings Menu is excellent and we were spoilt for choice! We were warmly welcomed by the excellent staff who were friendly, efficient and helped create a wonderful atmosphere! The crab claws and prawns proved very popular as did the deep fried brie. The chowder was delicious. I think nearly everyone tried a different main course (lemon sole, crab claws and prawns, seafood pie, chicken caesar salad, fish chips, lamb, ribs, curry, pasta and hake, were just some l can remember) and all without exception were delighted with their choice. As for the desserts, while we were all full, our arms were twisted by one of the party who was home from the States, she wanted to try a bit of everything as she missed our wonderful Irish dairy products!
