Was a few times over the years, eating was excellent as it is normally. service let the experience this time with 4/5. we have hurried through our eating and the staff could not wait to get rid of us. filz rushed into the selection of food and the staff asked countless paints about everything from ready to order, I take them their plate. there was the actual service next to the good tho.

Nice place to stay in Dunfermline, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are well sized, the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful. I ate in the restaurant downstairs which was really enjoyable and the food was great.

While eating, we both remarked on how warm it was inside. Fortunately, we were offered complimentary tea and coffee with our breakfast, which was a nice touch. The service was friendly and attentive. Although I mentioned it took a while for our food to arrive, I need to clarify that it was because everything was freshly cooked, which I appreciate. Sure, it could have been quicker, but that would have meant serving it from cans rather than preparing it fresh. Would we come back? Definitely! We had a delightful experience and thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We booked a weekend at the hotel for a getaway with my husband. The reservation process was straightforward, and our room was lovely. On our first night, we had dinner, which was enjoyable, especially since the food was hot when it arrived. Breakfast was also fantastic and abundant, with unlimited tea and coffee available. The staff throughout our stay were incredible—very helpful and eager to assist us. I would highly recommend staying here. My only complaint is that I wish I could book more nights!

I had a wonderful night at 1703. The bed was very comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were absolutely pristine, equipped with all the usual amenities, including tea, coffee, and a couple of mini cookie packages, as well as shampoo, hand wash, and a hairdryer. The hand towels were impeccably pristine white. Although the window handles were under repair, they still opened and closed without any issues. The parking at the back of the hotel was surprisingly affordable at just £4 for the night. The staff was exceptionally helpful, courteous, and always greeted us with a smile and friendly conversation. The experience was enhanced by their delightful warm hospitality. The only meal we had there was breakfast, which was enjoyable after a relaxed evening the night before. We would be more than happy to return in the future.
