Empire State Coffee - Dundee

We shared a delightful platter here, and it was absolutely divine! The selection of both savory and sweet dishes was fantastic, along with a great variety of drinks. The seating area was comfortable, although there was someone collecting used dishes from the tables. Our food and drinks arrived promptly, making for an overall enjoyable experience. I will definitely be coming back. Plus, they have restrooms downstairs, which is always a nice bonus!

My absolute favorite place in the city! They offer a wide range of vegetable options, a delightful variety of dishes, and amazing coffee. I adore the cozy atmosphere and the sense of relaxation it brings. Everything is always warm, delicious, and fresh. I particularly enjoy sitting in the lower level, which features charming subway-themed decor, and I like to pretend I've just come through a busy morning. If I need a pick-me-up, a mocha from the Empire paired with one of their delicious cinnamon rolls from Wild Hearth is simply the perfect treat.

Fantastic café! We were warmly welcomed by a cheerful young woman who served us early in the morning. It's refreshing to hear such enthusiasm in someone's voice. She was incredibly pleasant to all the customers. The food was delicious, especially the almond croissant. The owner clearly takes his coffee seriously, as he roasts his own beans, which we also bought for our home espresso machine. As an entrepreneur in the hospitality industry myself, it's great to visit a place where the staff truly cares for their customers, just like I do.

Imagine finding a piece of Manhattan in Dundee what a find! The Italian owner who roasts his own coffee every morning has pitched this brilliantly. The decor downstairs reminds you of the subway in New York , listening to super cool music and dreaming. Then to finish this off perfectly , amazing coffee and probably the best sourdough croissant I have ever tasted. Short walk from the VA don't miss it.
