Cheesesteaks are still good, but nothing like they use to be

Meh. I remember long ago Captain Harvey's was THE place to go for big overstuffed subs etc. I haven't been there in a long long time. Went tonight and got an Italian Cold Cut sub and was very disappointed. I wouldn't even call it Sub Shop quality. It was like something anyone could toss together in their home.

I'm originally from Dundalk and live in Harford County for 38 years now and me and my husband got 2 cheesesteak there yesterday 2/12/22. We saw that they have new owners and honestly it was really good. The meat is not like the old Captain Harvey's of Dundalk but it's good. I would most definitely recommend this place.

Wow! I was a LEO in the Dundalk area and a frequent customer 20 plus years ago to the Original restaurant. I was in the area and thought about a Captain Harvey's cheese steak. In speaking with the workers at this establishment I don't think they're still affiliated with the original but man ol man the cheese steak sub reminded me of 20 years ago! A+ service and a great overstuffed half sub for $9 equal to most places full sized sub! Diamond in the rough will be back again soon!
