Ruby's - Dundalk

Went for food with a friend yesterday and she found a long hair in her pasta, she said it to the staff and the staff gave a sorry excuse for an apology, the chef didn’t come out to apologise, our bill wasn’t comped, nothing. And the whole time the staff were huddled around each other talking about us. Never seen such unprofessionalism. Won’t be coming back

Don't understand how this place is still describing itself as a restaurant. Atrocious service and nauseating food. Give it a miss.

We called in her afternoon 22nd June. No complaints about the food or service but the heavy metal, heavy rock music loudly playing totally inapropriate for a restaurant dining setting. Noted a couple at the adjoing table also annoyed about the music. Obviviously staff member decided that we all must listen to his/her choice of music. Its a restaurant not a music venue.

Had a booking made for 12 o clock. We arrived in just before ten past twelve. We were seated at our table. It was busy especially with restrictions lifted. Our order was taken a while later. Our food arrived at 1.19PM. Some of which was wrong. We had asked for the kids food to be brought out asap with the delay. The adults food arrived first and we shared food around until there food arrived eventually. We were apologised to by a member of staff and were told that teas and coffees would be taken off bill. This did not happen. Management have a lot of work to do with service quality. We were looking forward to this meal and left with a very bitter taste in our mouths.
