Jimmys Great China - Duncanville

When I read the reviews, I initially thought they were exaggerated, but they turned out to be completely accurate! The portions are generous enough that we had leftovers for the next meal. The prices are affordable, and the food is delicious! Don't let the exterior deter you from trying this restaurant. It truly embodies the saying, "don't judge a book by its cover." Additionally, they take Covid-19 precautions seriously, which is a definite plus. This place definitely deserves a 5-star rating!

I've been a fan of JIMMY since it first opened when I was just 4 years old! I've heard some rumors lately that the current management isn't upholding the traditional MR. JIMMY quality that I remember. I'm passionate about this place! My brother even called me in tears, saying the food isn't as good anymore! I moved away from Duncanville 30 years ago, but I still come back to set things straight. I'm giving 5 stars out of RESPECT for Mr. JIMMY! But be warned—there will be consequences if the quality doesn't improve! Yes, indeed! If I'm visiting, things better be top-notch!

I wasn't a fan of the dish: grilled shrimp with Chinese vegetables (cabbage) and white sauce. Next time, I think I'll just stick to what I usually eat—shrimp and rice. However, I did manage to recreate the meal at home without the cabbage, and it turned out much better.

We're going out and had the cattle broccoli. It was from this world! The fried rice was so good and soft. The whole meal was where you couldn't stop eating it. huge portions! It's me!

Had a friend tell me to try and I wasn’t disappointed. Portions were BIG and the orange chicken was very flavorful. Only thing is they should get the ventilated boxes so the orange chicken is still crispy when you leave. I poked holes in my boxes to keep crispy. Will be back!
