Decided to stop for lunch today and as usual, we had a great meal, with great service thank you Anita! and a very nice experience. Mr. Mikes never disappoints us and we will be back. Again and again! Thanks again to our server A ita who was awesome!!

This busy restaurant had a sign on the door that said they were short on servers. I ordered the Personalized Steak option. I chose the 8oz New York cut. I chose it to be done in the Gaucho Style, which means it has blackened seasoning, comes with Garlic Parmesan Fries, Fresh Vegetables and Chimichurri Sauce. I opted for the Chimichurri Sauce on the side. The Steak was ok. Nothing special here. I could barely taste the blackened Spice. It was cooked medium as ordered. The Garlic Parmesan Fries were tasty, but on the cold side. The Chimichurri Sauce was ok. I subbed Vegetables for Mashed Potatoes, which were cold when the meal arrived. Overall this restaurant was ok. I would not say they are great at steaks, more like average. It’s more of a casual restaurant. Lots of menu options for the whole family. Service was friendly and prices were average.

I would like to commend our servers Jade and Anita as well as the kitchen staff at this location!! I just had the Cajun Chicken Pomodoro and it was delicious! Served fast and hot. Everytime we come here, we’ve always had great service and delicious food. Keep up the great work!

Unclean washrooms. Drug paraphernalia on the floor and mold growing in the toilet bowl. Ceasar salad was made with old rusty lettuce and baked potato didn't seem fresh. Chives were cooked.

Live in Nanaimo,we don’t have a mr mikes but as I like mikes my daughter always buys me gift cards for it.We came for lunch and decided we’d share 3 appys.The bruschetta,the best I’ve ever had ,steak bites so tender,moist and flavourful.our 3 was their lodgepole chips with dip ,crunchy and spicy.our waitress was friendly and service was very fast.Can’t wait to go back and have my favourite signature mike burger and friends can chose from there expanded menu.
