Express Bakery - Dumfries

Very helpful people, but not the easyiest place to find.

Each time I’m up in Scotland on coach trips we stop off at Moffat Mill. I rush to the Co-Op next door and buy up all the Express Bakery Soda Scones on the shelf and take them back to Portsmouth. Terrific flavour and a great product just like I used to get from my hometown of Belfast. Thank You Express Bakery

I spotted your Scotch pies at a convenience store on Warwick Road in Carlisle and was initially skeptical about finding them in England. However, I decided to give them a try, and I was really impressed with how delicious they are. I saw on the packaging that you're based in Dumfries, which explains everything! This is the best Scotch pie I've had in years!

The post office on Wigton Road in Carlisle supplies the little shop with your products, and I have to say, your Scotch pies are the best I've had since the 1970s. The steak and minced meat pies are also packed with flavor and meat without being overly drenched in gravy. And I absolutely love all the cakes and rolls as well. Please keep them coming down here!

The restaurant was easy to locate, although there were no signs directing you to the office. You have to take the fire exit to reach it, but it's definitely worth the effort. The pie crusts are delightful!
