El Tapatio - Dumas

I visited this restaurant based on a colleague's recommendation. My boyfriend ordered the enchiladas, while I opted for dish #39, which included flautas, a tamale, enchiladas, rice, and guacamole. The combination of dishes was a great mix and came out quickly. The food was delicious, especially the horchata. Our server was attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable, and I look forward to trying more items from their extensive menu on our next visit.

I stumbled upon this amazing Mexican restaurant during my travels. The grilled steak tacos were cooked perfectly, and the rice and beans were top-notch. The special red sauce and tomatillo sauce for the tacos were exceptional!

The food was excellent, but the service left a lot to be desired. It was challenging to receive good service when the waitress struggled to understand what we were saying.

The service is usually decent but the food quality has consistently been hit or miss (definitely more on the miss side). Most of the food has the appearance and taste of having been prepared the day prior. The drinks are the only reason for the 2 star.

I got three bites into my food before it was so salty I couldn't even eat it. I also ordered the kids chicken strips for my son. He maybe took 2 small bites before he puked. So I tasted them and they were also so salty they couldn't be eaten. As well as our drinks were not refilled til the end of the meal. Will not go there again. Overall it was a terrible experience.
