However, we had to wait an hour for our food, and two of our orders were missing items. Overall, the food was good, but the service was not.
We ate at Jo's Chicken Inato at Siliman Ave for dinner. Although the place was almost full, we didn't have to wait before we were seated sa 2nd floor which was much cooler than the 1st floor. We chatted with our local friend studying med in Siliman U while we waited for our orders. We ordered grilled chicken thigh/leg and pork bbq. Both were delicious and sulit. Will order from here again next time but I'd prefer to eat somewhere else cleaner and to avoid the crowd.
Since 1970. Delicious. Must include in itinerary when you visit Dumaguete City.
There are several locations in and around Dumaguete available for this restaurant. This particular one is the location we have dined at the most. It's been consistently good and the meal options are reasonably priced. There is a fair amount of parking available in front of the businesses across the street. One thing that makes the dining experience different is this is a traditional sit down restaurant with table service but you order your food and pay at a kiosk near the entrance. Not that unusual when eating fast food but this isn't that type of restaurant. I still recommend giving Jo's a try especially if you are in the mood for delicious grilled chicken.
It’s a Filipino restaurant famous for their chicken bbq which I must say it’s tender and juicy, perfectly cooked. They have varieties of dishes which includes vegetables as well. Fast service and friendly staff. So if you’re into bbq, this is the must-to-go place. I really love their chicken, hope it stays that way.
