Cafe Isla - Dumaguete City

Love the vibe here. The food also has this homey feel. Flavors are not too strong and just suits my palate. The price justifies the quality and quantity of the food which is a must for me. I also love that it's not by the street so the noise gets filtered out. Will definitely come back here.

The place is very cozy and overwhelming. Staffs are great in terms of customer service. Highly recommended and it is also a part of history since the house restaurant was more than 100 years old. Surely will comeback

Buglas Isla is a great way to showcase Dumaguete especially when you host visitors. The place is picturesque to being sent in the past while enjoying the delectables of the present. The great tasting food was served hot and fresh. The service was outstanding and there was no wait time to fulfilling requests. Buglas isla is where masterpieces of art meet the festival of the palate!

Had a pleasant dining experience here in Buglas Isla Cafe! We went around 11AM on a weekday and it was not crowded. Parking is spacious. From the moment we went in, we were assisted to our table. The vibes is very homey. While we waited for our orders, they gave us complimentary bread and butter. My husband and I ordered the ff: Seafood Pasta with bread cooked just the way we liked it: fresh, a bit tangy, and pasta was al dente! It had squid, tahong, and shrimps. Island Smash Burger with Fries yummy too! Huge juicy beef patties, bacon, and veggies. Mmmm. Buglas Pizza perfect mix of sweet and salty. It had chorizos and pineapples, a drizzle of honey. The crust was stuffed with cheese and meat. Sarap! Taho Cheesecake light cheesecake that’s not too sweet! Perfect pair with our cold brew Overall, we had a great experience. We were so full we didn’t finish the pizza hehe will def come back and try their other dishes.

Very beautiful and peaceful location. I was here for dinner. The food is really excellent, yummy and the price is really good for the quality. But the service needs to be improved a lot. Although they told me, that they are open until 10pm (it was weekend), all staff started to clean up floor and tables at 9pm and didn’t care about the guests requests outside on the terrace. Management is required!
