Fitger's Brewhouse Brewery And Grille

The beer was great and the food was really good but I had to deduct 1 star for the mandatory 5% fee. I hate this practice and will avoid Fitger's in the future because of it. It's great that you want to pay your staff a better wage but include the expense in your menu prices just like any other business expense. There's no reason to be sneaky with a 5% surcharge. ETA: If your goal is transparency then include all of your expenses in the menu prices. There's nothing more transparent than that.

Excellent pub with many options for all. Good staff, interesting location along the waterfront. Will eat here again the next time in town.

Very good good and fast service EDIT: we keep coming back almost every time we are in Duluth and it is always great service and great food. Staff is busy but they are good at what they do make sure you enjoy your visit

I found that the flavor of the specialty beef to be the best on both sides of the Mississippi and between both coasts. That goes for the onion rings as well. RG Cattle Rustler and Buffalo hunter.

We ate there on Tuesday August 27, 2024. We were seated upstairs which was cozy. The hostess was very nice and accommodating when we wanted to sit at a booth. Our server was Renee. She was so pleasant and very informative about the beer choices, offered tastings first and our choices were very good. We had the nachos with shredded pork and added guacamole. Was great to split. The only thing was they lacked cheese. It was very scarce. The atmosphere was very nice and everything seemed clean. Drinks and food were delivered all within 20 minutes. Again Renee was the best server we had our whole trip up and down the north shore! She was so attentive,and happy and offered to take our picture as it was my birthday and a sister trip and this was our last place before going our ways. The experience was great.
