Zur Laterne - Duisburg

Second time now eating at this place. The food is great with different type of schnitzels and other menus. The staff is a bit unfriendly, maybe they don’t like foreign people. No english menus and staff doesn’t speak english very well.

This is centrally located (opposite shopping mall) traditional German restaurant. The white wine is great, gammon (hexe) very generous, schnitzel moist. Service very prompt, ambience lovely. Prices reasonable.

When we arrived in Duisburg we were looking for a nice place to eat and found this place, after scrolling through some restaurant pages. We weren't disappointed. The food was amazing and the service really really fast. The atmosphere is great and the service is great. A nice place to eat some German traditional dishes. They also have a cute dog.

Eclipse eating, too expensive etc. Once Gänsebrust 24,99? Salt, vegetables, etc.

It used to be very good. We were eating today and that was nothing. There are now citizens and the card is reduced. The food was tasteless and the carvings were slightly burned, and the roasted potatoes were not roasted. We often went to eat there, but unfortunately the trend continues down.
